Hurricanes Over Half Of New Zealand Under 19 Heartland Team
13 players (of 25) have been named in the New Zealand Heartland Under 19 Team to compete in the Jock Hobbs Memorial Tournament in Taupo this month. The New Zealand team includes seven players who were part of the Hurricanes Heartland Under 20 Team.
Horowhenua-Kapiti RFU’s Aleni Feagaiga returns as Head Coach of the Heartland Team, assisted by Kelly Walsh from South Canterbury. The Team Manager is Jason Ree from Mid-Canterbury, while the Team Physio is Davide Castorina from Wairarapa-Bush. The Council wishes all those involved with the team every success during the Tournament in Taupo.
